the case after police found thousands of ammunition rounds and home-made bombs
at the couple’s house.
The couple was killed during a standoff with
police five hours after the massacre. More than 1,600 bullets were found on or
around the shooters’ bodies in the rented Ford Expedition SUV. At their home, a
massive arsenal of 2,000 9mm rounds, 2,500 .223-calibre rounds and several

US President Barack Obama:
US President Barack Obama was briefed on the attack by his homeland
security adviser. He said it was too early to know the shooters' motives but urged the country to take steps to reduce mass shootings, including stricter gun laws and stronger background checks.
“The one thing we do know is that we have a pattern now of mass shootings in this country that has no parallel anywhere else in the world, and there's some steps we could take, not to eliminate every one of these mass shootings, but to improve the odds that they don't happen as frequently,'' Obama told CBS.
Attackers invaded the Inland Regional Center (Pictured) and began shooting around 11 am. They opened fire in a conference area that the San Bernardino County Department of Public Health had rented out for a banquet, said Marybeth Feild, president and chief executive of the nonprofit center.—AP

Inquiry
faces PIA pilot for allowing Reham Khan into cockpit:

inquiry against a pilot who allowed TV journalist Reham Khan the ex-wife of PTI chairman Imran Khan in the cockpit of the plane:
According to the spokesperson of
PIA, an initial investigation suggested that the TV journalist, Reham khan had
arrived in the cockpit of the plane for some time, which was the violation of
the rules and security measures of PIA.
Reham Khan the ex-wife of PTI
chairman Imran Khan, was aboard a Lahore bound flight No. PK=788 from London
when the episode took place.

laws for jets security and it was enacted gates of cockpits will remain closed
as part of a security during any flight.
Reham is currently in Pakistan where she has announced to resume
her career in the media.
In Pakistan most of the political think tanks feel that the Reham
Khan will participate in politics soon. She is keeping contact with important
personalities There is a fear found in Pakistan. If Reham will take part in
politics the political recrimination would start again and a game of dirty
politics may be started.

In Pakistan opportunities for women are limited:
Pakistan is a highly traditional,
patriarchal society where opportunities for women are limited.
But in 2006 seven women broke into
one of the country's most exclusive male clubs to graduate as fighter pilots –
perhaps the most prestigious job in the powerful military and for six decades
closed to them.
It is unclear how many women have
joined the air force as fighter pilots since then. A New York Times report in
June put the figure at 21.
The crash is the latest deadly
accident to hit Pakistan's military.
In May, a military helicopter
carrying diplomats to inspect a tourism project crashed, killing seven people,
including the ambassadors of Norway and Philippines.
In August, another military
helicopter being used as an air ambulance crashed near the northern district of
Mansehra, killing 12 people.
